State Bank of India has announced the Exam Pattern for SBI
PO Exam 2014. It consists of two phases.
Phase-I: Objective Tests and Descriptive Test
Phase-II: Group Discussion and Interview
Phase-I:
Objective Test:
1. The Objective Test consists of 200 multiple choice questions.
2. There are 4 sections each carries 50 marks, adding up to
a total of 200 marks.
3. It will be conducted online for a duration of 2 hours.

3. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
4. Individual Sectional cut off will be there. To get qualified for Phase II, candidates are required to get high score in each section.
OBJECTIVE TEST : 200 Marks
Descriptive Test :
1. The descriptive test will be conducted immediately after objective test gets over.
2. It will be conducted offline for a duration of 1 hour.
3. Descriptive test will be evaluated only for the candidates those who qualified in objective test with high scores.
DESCRIPTIVE TEST : 50 Marks
PHASE-II:
Group Discussion: 20 Marks
Candidates those who qualified in Objective test and Descriptive test will be called for Group Discussion. The qualifying marks will be decided by the respective Bank.Interview: 30 Marks
